Baker & McKenzie Signs Lease at Health Care Service Corporation Headquarters, 300 E. Randolph

CHICAGO – Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) has signed a 16-year agreement to lease approximately 230,000 square feet of space in its headquarters building at 300 E. Randolph in Chicago to Baker & McKenzie, a leading global law firm.

The Lease Agreement was signed on December 16, 2009, with commencement beginning December 1, 2012.

The vertical completion of the 300 E. Randolph building brings the total number of floors to 51 from 33, with 19 new floors of office space. Baker & McKenzie will lease approximately 7 ½ floors of space in the high-rise.

"Baker & McKenzie attorneys and professional staff will enjoy the building's many amenities, ranging from its unparalleled views of the lakefront and Grant and Millennium Parks, to its proximity to major transportation routes and public transportation facilities."

Amenities
Approximately 700 Baker & McKenzie attorneys and professional staff will move into the building. All of them will have access to the building's two cafeterias, lower level conferencing and auditorium spaces, as well as pedway level retail facilities.

In addition, Baker & McKenzie will have the opportunity to use the building's new 30th-floor conference center and the newly landscaped outdoor plaza.
