Nebo, an affiliate of Passport Health Communications, provides services and products to help improve staff productivity by offering access to BCBSIL and other payers with a single password via the Internet and integrated systems. Staff members working in various areas of a facility can quickly verify coverage, copay amounts and deductibles. Nebo Systems in partnership with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) offers the NDAS Online product to BCBSIL health care providers via the internet.
NDAS Online is a fast and convenient online resource to help you with a variety of every day tasks. Current features for multiple payer organizations, including commercial and government, are:

Inactivity Standard for NDAS Online Accounts
BCBSIL has begun efforts to minimize the risk surrounding external access to our systems. As of October 2008, the inactivity standard for provider accounts is 400 days. BCBSIL feels this timeframe is acceptable for the usage of provider user accounts.
Below are the details of this inactivity standard:
- If a provider account is not used within 370 days, the account will be given administrative suspended status. The user then will need to call the Nebo Help Desk at (866) 810-0000 to have their ID reset and access reinstated.
- If the user fails to log in an additional 30 days for a total of 400 days, the account will become terminated. The user will no longer be able to access their account and must call the Nebo Help Desk at (866) 810-0000 to have a new ID created.
