Rejected Claims with the QGE Error Message - January 2009

REJECTED CLAIMS WITH THE QGE ERROR MESSAGE

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois claim files that rejected due to the QGE Error Message (Billing Tax ID Not a Match to NPI) will be reprocessed starting Friday, 01/23/09. No further action is needed from the submitter.

Correct response reports will be available Saturday morning, 01/24/09. Please disregard claim rejection that is indicated as a DUPLICATE claim rejection, in this case the original claim was previously accepted.
