My favorite part of visiting the Centers is the staff. It's more like a community when you come in here. It's a family. You're greeted warmly. You're welcomed. And I always look forward to it, no matter which Center I go to.
I had passed by here for awhile and I had decided to come in and check out BINGO because I was looking for someplace to take my mother for some activities. And I came in here for BINGO, and I won and I was like "I like the way this place is, and I think my mother would, too." So then I brought her the following week and she won! So we've been... you know. She looks forward to coming every Wednesday and I'm pretty much at a Blue Door Monday through Friday.
The FIT Kit is probably one of the easiest things that I've ever done. The instructions were simple. You send it off and within a week, you have your results. So you have peace of mind of knowing what your colorectal situation is. So I would recommend it to anyone to get the FIT Kit and get it done.
At the most... to get my test results, it took... I don't even know if it took a week. It was a week at most.
If I could describe what the Centers have done for me, they've made me feel like family. Like I said earlier, I'm always greeted warmly when I come. You know, they know me by name when I come to any 1 of the 3 Centers. So I always, I feel like I'm part of the family.
