Blue Access for Members is your online resource for managing your health care coverage, and a gateway to wellness resources available only to BCBSIL members.
In addition, you will be able to access the My Health tab. When accessing the My Health tab, you will be directed to Well OnTarget. Within Well on Target, you will have access to take a Health Assessment, sign up for Self-Directed courses, view Life Points and access your Food and Exercise Diary and interactive health calculators.

Referrals are not required. However, to receive the highest level of benefits, members you should verify that the specialist is in the PPO network and the services are covered before receiving medical care or treatment. Contact Customer Service for assistance.
When you opt out of receiving paper Explanation of Benefits (EOB), you will receive an email notification about the status of your claim. If you haven't opted out, then a paper EOB will be mailed to your home address. You can also check the status of your claim by logging into Blue Access for MembersSM, or by contacting customer service at 1-800-325-0320.

The subscriber's name or employee's name is on the ID card. Family members do not receive cards in their own name. When services are received, present the ID card to the provider for any family member and the claim will be processed and finalized from the information found on the ID card.
While all services are based on the medical necessity of the care received, the ITW Plan covers medical services rendered in a variety of settings, to include a retail pharmacy or urgent care facility. Call Customer Service at 1-800-325-0320 to learn more.
