Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) and National Fitness Campaign launched a statewide project earlier this year to bring 15 outdoor fitness courts to communities across Illinois. The initiative is providing free access to exercise space and structures designed for use by people of all ages and ability levels. In this video, BCBSIL leaders and community partners celebrate the opening of new fitness courts in Aurora and Riverdale. "It's about health, it's about wellness, and it's about preventing complications from disease," BCBSIL Medical Director Dr. David Jaimovich said at the Aurora event.
