CHICAGO — With four Individual and Family plans statewide, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois continues to support greater access to quality, cost-effective health care in all 102 counties. Open enrollment for Individual and Family health plan coverage is now underway and runs until Jan. 15.
BCBSIL plans include a Point of Service (POS) plan, one Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan and two Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plans. All are designed to provide coverage that is reliable and affordable.

Through our Blue Points℠ program, members who reach goals and complete healthy activities can earn up to $100 a year, redeemable in the form of digital gift cards from national retailers.
New this year is the Mental Health Hub, a digital one-stop-shop for mental health resources. This includes an optional self-assessment to help members navigate recommended solutions and access behavioral health providers treating substance use disorders, pediatric mental illness, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders and more.
BCBSIL also maintains a wide network of primary care providers, specialists, hospitals and other health care facilities.
