Find a Provider
Blue Cross Community MMAI (Medicare-Medicaid Plan)℠ has a network of doctors, specialists and hospitals. These providers are contracted with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois to provide medical services to members.
You should use in-network providers. If you choose to see a doctor who is not part of our network, you may have to pay for the services. Check with the provider to make sure that he or she is in the network before you get care. Go to Out-of-Network Coverage for more information.
You must choose a PCP when you join the plan. There's also a wide selection of specialists. The Provider Finder® has the most up-to-date network of doctors, specialists, hospitals and other health care providers which makes it easy to find a doctor or hospital in your area. Please note, the Blue Cross Community MMAI plan may cover more providers than displayed in the search results. Please contact Customer Service at 1-877-723-7702 (TTY: 711) for additional information.
Keep in mind that you may need to get approval for some services before you are treated. This is called prior-authorization. BCBSIL may not cover the service if you don’t get approval.
