Medicare’s Extra Help Program Can Help Lower Drug Costs
"Extra Help" is a Medicare program to help people with limited income pay their Medicare Part D premiums, deductibles, copays, and other costs. Medicare can help with these costs.
If you qualify for the Extra Help program, you:
- Will get a Low-Income Subsidy (LIS) rider. This tells you how much help you'll get from Medicare.
- Get the same coverage as someone on your plan who is not getting Extra Help.
- Must keep paying your Medicare Part B premium and follow your plan details.
Download the Low Income Premium Subsidy form. Go to our Forms and Documents page, then choose Prescription Drug Plan Documents.
