Your plan covers all FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccines without cost sharing when obtained at an in-network doctor’s office.

• For HMO Plans: vaccines are covered at in-network providers’ offices, but not at the pharmacy.
• For OAP plans: vaccines are covered at in-network providers’ offices. Members should contact their pharmacy benefit manager to confirm coverage at a retail pharmacy.

Coverage of the COVID-19 vaccine follows our standard preventive services policy for vaccines. Going forward, it will continue to be covered without cost sharing like any other preventive vaccine, such as the flu, RSV and others. Coverage of COVID-19 vaccines without cost sharing from an out-of-network provider ended with the Public Health Emergency in Illinois.
